Your site is built with the ability to add testimonials to a category that will appear on a special page for testimonials, as well as be shown in a widget that you can add to your site’s sidebar. The steps below detail how to add a testimonial to your site:
- Log in to your dashboard using the Log in link at the bottom your website.
- From the menu on the left, go to Posts > Add New.
- Give the post a title (“Helped my back pain”).
- Type or paste the testimonial in the text area and format it how you want.
- IMPORTANT: In the Categories window on the right, click Testimonial.
- Click Publish to make your post live.
- Check your site’s Testimonial page to verify everything looks correct.
NOTE: Give each testimonial it’s own post. You will then be able to add the testimonial widget to your side bar, and it will rotate through all of the posts marked in the testimonial category.
